I am a registered Democrat in PA, but I voted for Toomey in '10 and I voted for Glenn Thompson in both '08 and '10.

Yes, though with the exception of voting for John McCain in the 2008 Virginia GOP presidential primary, I have voted almost exclusively for Democrats since 2004.

I voted for Obama in 08, though I regret that decision :/

I've voted for several non-independents in my time.

I'm not a member of a party, and I've voted all over the place in my 10 years of voting.

I voted for George W. Bush in 2000 that was the only time I didn't go with a constitutionalist or independent.

I'm a registered Republican and I haven't voted for any of them in some time. With the closed primaries in NY it's a good idea to register to a party so you can participate. In my area  a lot of races on the local level are decided in the Republican primaries.

I voted Republican for every non-statewide election I could in 2010. Three of those had good reasons; one was just because I could.

Yes, I'm a member of the Centre Party, but I voted for the Greens in the EU parliamentary election in '09 (and would probably do so again)

I suppose I more closely identify with the Democratic Party, but yes I've voted Republicans before (in local races, mostly), Libertarians (downballot office protest vote) and a Green Party candidate (Malik Rahim, LA-2, 2008).

I've voted in a total of 7 elections and in these 7 elections I've voted for a total of 5 parties. Or possibly 4, can't remember for certain. Come to think of it, it's actually 5-6 parties in 8 elections. So I can't really say that I have a party. Tongue

I don't vote Republican so in cases where I would like to vote third party as a protest vote, I am prohibited from doing so due to the top 2 primary Washington uses. Before this awful system was adopted, I considered voting Green against Maria Cantwell, but I caved in and voted for her anyway.

To summarize: No. Tongue

Yes, since my party runs very few candidates.

You have me either topped or tied, though it took you a lot fewer elections. I lost track of how many elections I have voted in but I have voted for 5 different parties (not counting independents) in my life.

Yes. Since the Conservatives became 'my party', I voted SNP in 2007.

I didn't want a State Rep who obsesses over animals rather than fixing the state so I voted against Annie Hornish in 2010 after I'd voted for her in 2008. That's the only time I've voted Republican. I have voted for Working Families (usually the same candidate as the Democrats) and Green party candidates when the occasion comes but I typically vote for Democrats, even when they deeply disappoint me. Other than protest voting there is typically never a good reason to vote for another party.

I can't vote, so no.

If I could, I definitely would have voted outside of my party in the Republican primaries here for the more moderate old guard GOP candidates against the teabaggers.

That's a pretty terrible reason to vote Republican.

She was a pretty terrible reason to vote Democratic. What's wrong with wanting a State Rep in tune with the llocal community rather than PETA?
