Obama's 7 point lead against Huckabee kind of surprises me.

Huckabee is the perfect candidate for the panhandle, but I doubt he'd play well in the rest of the state.

Huckabee would do very well in the panhandle and most of north florida, but then again so would any republican. He might lose Duval county (Jacksonville) by a narrow margin, and he'd probably lose Orange by double digits and Hillsborough by high single digits, and we all know he would get crushed in south florida. if the senate race here wasn't a three-way split, it would likely have been within 5% either direction.

here in central florida, turnout is key. this is such a volatile region politically as it swung wildly to the democrats in 2008 and then republican in 2010.

Huckabee can win florida if the GOTV operation is huge in central florida (I-4) corridor. He also needs to keep the margins relatively stable in south florida

Florida wasn't good to Mitt Romney in the 2008 primaries and it is certainly not good to him in the general. Has to do with more of the Scott disapprovals. I think Giuliani in the end will certainly be competetive with Obama in Florida.

Jeb's been out of it for over 4 years now. The longer you're off the campaign trail, the worse off you are.

It'll be fun to watch the GOP nominee trying to hide from Rick Scott.

Pretty much impossible for the GOP to win without Florida. Yeah, yeah a year and a half out but Smiley
