It's ed... plus he picks an ALP seat with a 7% margin...

The ALP will rip him to shreds... and I think somewhat rightly.

The ALP will rip him to shreds... and I think somewhat rightly.

The seat is quite similar to the Brisbane City Council Ward of The Gap, with a few bits of Enoggera and Marchant thrown in for good measure.

The bits of Enoggera were probably the bits most likely to vote for him (not the Ferny Grove end), and probably the same goes for Marchant (not the Chermside end). The Gap voted for him at 71.69% 2PP, so in 2008 he was quite popular through that area. If he's preselected, I'm confident he'd win the seat, although Labor will try to cast as much doubt as they can about that. Queensland Labor is hopeless at governing, but quite good at electioneering.
