You have to look closely to see my mustache.

That is a cool and spooky picture Max Power.

I believe he was implying you're a man of generous proportions.. full figured.. stocky.. well-covered.  You get the idea.  But jeez, pot calling the kettle black, eh?

This is sort of like World War I: Most unnecessary, yet most inevitable.

In what way do you think war was inevitable? I suppose it depends upon whose perspective you look at it from, was war inevitable for Britain?

I'm the one under the arrow and Sam Katz is on the far left (wearing the red tie).

Because I am carrying a Katz and Brown sign? Or is it because I'm wearing a gold tie in one of them?  Tongue

The gold tie, of course.

No, in all seriousness, it's good to see you're politically active in such a Democratic stronghold of a city.

Well this year, for example, we Philadelphia Republicans lose every race. No, it's not me being pessimistic. This year we vote for DA, City Controller, Judges... In fact, the Primary is on Tuesday. I just realized that a few days ago. Republicans in Philly go into hibernation this year.

However, in 2006, we'll be out again. We'll lose when it comes to how the city votes for Governor and Senate, but we're still out there, getting as many votes as possible to help our statewide candidates and some more local candidates. Also in '07, we have City Council and Mayor. For Mayor, it's another example of an uphill battle but we still work. I really enjoy it (though the defeats are frustrating).

Haha. I am lucky enough to have a GOP Councilman (though I'm not a huge fan). We have my Councilman + the two GOP At-Large seats. Yep, a grand total of three Republican City Council members out of seventeen total members.

Wow, that's pretty bad. At least in my county they let the Democrats automatically get one seat out of three.

I don't know why Red NJ Avatar won't say what it is. People are able to tell the point of it. In fact, that's what gets people to go. You just can't give details.

Is it like the freemasonry?

Kairos is a religious activity that usually has a strong impact on someone spiritually. For example: Someone who is completley non-religious might have a friend that goes just because their friend begged them to take the trip. They might comeback wanting to enter into a religious community.

It's a very deep, spiritual experience. Most come back, urging their friends to go.
