Really? It's definitely pretty stigmatized in my eyes.

I can think of only two people I know who have been even close - one feminist girl who hooked up with men for casual sex via some sex partner site and one girl who made a lot of friends via online communities and stuff and ended up romantically involved with one of them. None of this is dating sites though.
