How many votes do you think Bill Clinton got in 1996 from the perceived technological gains of Mario 64?

I didn't get it (along with Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey) until 12/25/96, so I don't think it influenced my parents' vote.

The only impact on the election was that fewer people watched the debates, because they were busy playing Mario 64.

I think the biggest stories of the election cycle of 1996 were Crash Bandicoot, Tomb Raider, Waverace, Mario 64, and the Independence Day/Mortal Kombat films.

Trying to remember if Power Rangers was out of style by that time.

Debates don't impact much anyway, so it doesn't bode well for the electoral influence of Mario 64.
