Students for Daniels is apparently putting up the $ for this to air on the Fox affiliate in DC in a few days, shortly after CPAC.

It's a bit strange that McMillan is appearing in an ad intended to draft one of his potential rivals for 2012.  Then again, what *isn't* strange about Jimmy McMillan?

They're trying to tap into the thirst for nonsensical political ads that was once satisfied by Mike Gravel.

This is the guy that, as budget director, oversaw a $250 billion surplus turn into a $400 billion deficit, right?

He was only there for two years, if I recall correctly. I'm not sure how fast the budget turned around.

I thought Jimmy McMillan was going to run for President himself. Is he endorsing Daniels?

Haha, I wonder how they convinced Jimmy to do that.

He quit after two years to escape the idiocy of the Bush administration.  And before you ask, the budget estimate for the Iraq War went on the numbers Congress and Bush gave him, namely, that the occupation would only last 13 months.  If you're looking for a culprit, you can string up most of Congress and the Bush Administration.

Yup, the deficit is always the fault of the old Republicans, not the new ones, who promise they'll balance the budget this time.

Unlike past Republicans, Daniels can actually back up his "claims" with his record as Governor of Indiana.

I...don't think I'd want to be affiliated with an ad with a guy outright bashing Social Security.  I don't even think Ron Paul does that.

Ron Paul: "Abolish Social Security, but not overnight. "
Ron Paul: "Let people get out of Social Security; it’s a failure."
