Itīs been one of his mini-obsessions for a while. It pops up now and then - I believe this isnīt the first "Opinion of Anton LaVey" thread he has created.

Perhaps only in America could a religion be formed where self-indulgence and spirtuality are seen as effect the same thing.

I was not impressed at all by Satanism, I think the name really reels people in. Atheism is by definition not a religion, making it into one is pointless. I guess everyone wants to be part of something though.
