West Virginia:

Mike Huckabee ............................................... 28%
Sarah Palin ..................................................... 23%
Newt Gingrich ................................................. 17%
Mitt Romney.................................................... 10%
Ron Paul......................................................... 6%
Tim Pawlenty .................................................. 5%
Mitch Daniels .................................................. 2%
John Thune..................................................... 0%
Someone else/Undecided............................... 8%

North Carolina:

Mike Huckabee ............................................... 27%
Newt Gingrich ................................................. 18%
Sarah Palin ..................................................... 16%
Mitt Romney.................................................... 11%
Tim Pawlenty .................................................. 7%
Ron Paul......................................................... 6%
Mitch Daniels .................................................. 3%
John Thune..................................................... 1%
Someone else/Undecided............................... 10%

PPP surveyed 400 usual North Carolina Republican primary voters, with a +/-4.9% margin of error, and 355 usual West Virginia Republican primary voters, with a +/-5.2% margin of error, from January 20th to 23rd. Other factors, such as refusal to be interviewed and weighting, may introduce additional error that is more difficult to quantify.

Jbrase hasn't posted on his map in a while, so I'll update it for him.  The current state of play, according to PPP:

Huckabee = blue
Palin = pink
Romney = red
Pawlenty = green
tie = white

Interesting, I would think Mitch would get 5% and pawlenty only 2...though it's hard to get an accurate reading on groups that small

How would anyone in West Virginia know who Mitch Daniels is?  Unless their Pro Bowl was last week.
