I really didn't 'get' those videos. I think he was the weird kid in class who always talked about communism, Hitler "having some good ideas" and Ron Paul '08.

Not to trivialise, but you're basically saying he's Libertas with a gun? I think his problems are a bit deeper than that.

From his videos it seems to me that he is an anti-government conspiracy nut with a fixation on currency and 'grammar'.  I could see how someone might label that as left wing in 2007 since at the time his anti-government venom would be against Bush -- but its really not a left-right mentality.
