Good news for Republicans that Palin really sucks in this crucial state ...

However convenient it might be for Democrats that the Lena Lamont of American politics (Sarah Palin -- the reference is to the obnoxious silent film star of horrible voice and little ability to act beyond the mime in Singin' in the Rain)  is very popular among Republicans to this point  -- it is best that she not drag down the level of political discourse any more than she already has.

favorability / unfavorability #s among GOP primary voters:

Mike Huckabee 67%/20% for +47%.
Mitt Romney 61%/22% for +39%.
Sarah Palin 61%/32% for +29%.
Newt Gingrich 59%/24% for +35%.
