Actually, the only reason I voted against Gladiator that round was to attempt to save Black Rain, not that it would have ensured its survival.  Fab, what do you do in case of a tie?  Run-off or executive decision?

Either way, I don't think this is all that bad a survivor; its rules aren't out of place and Scott's movies are widely, though often overly, praised.

I have personal reasons for liking Gladiator more than the others. And seeing Thelma & Louise going one step further has "depressed" me.

I must say that I prefer Alien in a way, but it has gotten "older" very quickly... Blade Runner is a bit snobbish... This expected final round will be a frustration for me

Ah.  Pity I wasn't around, then.  I far prefer Gladiator with its flaws to Thelma and Louise.

Of course you won't drop it, and the reason for that is why you were made our leader.

Alien certainly hasn't aged well, but that's only one thing I don't like about it.  The movie doesn't show basic things like how the crew stopped the acid from eating through the ship and stuff like that.  Or does it in an extended scene?

For my part, sorry for taking the Kubrick survivor so early. Not many directors can measure up to him, so it's downhill from there, imo.
