Not that I want to have a movie series of survivors (please note that it must have a good bunch of history, politics, spy, sci-fi or war in it: I wouldn't agree on a Sandra Bullock films survivor Grin),
but homelycooking's survivor on Kubrick gave me the idea.

Hitchcock films will probably pop up one day (but not from me) and Spielberg too.
Just sayin'...
Anyway, here is our list:

1977 - The Duellists

1985 - Legend
1987 - Someone to Watch Over Me
1989 - Black Rain
1991 - Thelma & Louise
1992 - 1492: Conquest of Paradise
1996 - White Squall
1997 - G.I. Jane

2001 - Black Hawk Down
2003 - Matchstick Men
2005 - Kingdom of Heaven
2006 - A Good Year
2007 - American Gangster
2008 - Body of Lies
2009 - Tell-Tale
2010 - Robin Hood

Each round will last 24 hours+.
The movie that receives the biggest total of votes will be eliminated.
In case of a tie, the movie that received the biggest total of votes in previous rounds will be eliminated.
In case of a new tie, I, director of this survivor, will decide.
You will be able to change your vote only if nobody else has voted after you.

ROUND 1 IS OPEN !
In this round, you have 5 points to eliminate (to cast 2-2-1) and 1 point to keep.

From me, yes, of course Wink.

Well, historically, it was crap. But Joaquin Phoenix, Connie Nielsen and even Crowe were good.
Proximo and many gladiators are fine characters in this story.
And family is so important in this film that I like it.
And Crowe looked a bit like my father in this film and I saw it 3 months after my father died, so, maybe I'm biased... Tongue !

It's not my favourite, though Wink (my favourite will be eliminated before the final round, I'm afraid...)
