HappyWarrior's recent bill got me thinking.

Although it definitely should be a different person than the PPT, why not have a party leader on the floor? He could be the frontman for the party in the Senate, could organize the discussions of prospective bill ideas among us, and also be the person any non-Senators in the party send bill to.

If none of us are opposed to it, I nominate myself.

I don't think this is a bad idea.  It would be nice to have somebody specific to the senate to coordinate discussions of bill ideas from other JCP senators and JCPers at large.

I second Bacon King's nomination for the creation of the JCP caucus and his installment as the caucus leader.

Furthermore, the caucus leader could act as a liaison between the senate and the head of the JCP in the future should the party leader not also be in the senate .

I thought we'd take the route of a liberal caucus and a conservative caucus, since we have three parties in Atlasia.

As long as it is outside the Senate's official organization and you don't make life painfull for me (which I will determine on a case by case basis, and which as Presidenti Obama said to Bobby Jindal, "there will be trouble for everyone" should it occur), I am fine with it.
