In terms of total pickups projected, I was off by one in the Senate and (it's looking like) one in the House.

Congratulations, Phil!!!!!!

Just checked the official numbers for some races here in Pennsylvania and it turns out Toomey won 52% to 48%, not 51% to 49%.

If only Winfield knew, I would have gotten double congratulations after November 2nd.

I give Phil his accolades for his idea that Marco Rubio would be the next Senator from Florida. Over a year ago, during our epic New York City trip, I remember aggravating Phil with the notion that Crist had the deal sealed, and Rubio was dead in the water. Needless to say, winds prevailed in a different direction and the tide turned.

Never realized Phil could be so prophetic.

Congrats Phil.

Phil, Warsaw is paralyzed with snowing and I caught some cold.

Since there's only one person with such powers to cause this I just wanted to say...

Congrats Phil!

Tomorrow is a huge day. Huge. One month after the original "Congrats to Keystone Phil!" day, we have the World Cup 2018 and 2022 site selections, Napoli vs. Utrecht in Europa League (Napoli could be eliminated) and the Eagles vs. the Texans in Thursday Night Football. So appropriate that this would fall one month after the best election result of my lifetime.

These events could lead to great celebration or great anguish. The World Cup site selections are most important. If the U.S. doesn't get selected for 2022, it could be ugly. The other events are important but Napoli will be in Europa League (or better) and the Eagles will win other games in the near future (though the Eagles really need this game to stay near the top).

You have been warned.

This was one of Nutter's most hilarious failures. He had to back track on this one in record time. What a total disappointment of a Mayor.

I actually saw him today at the World Cup site selection event here in Philly. Let's just say that I wasn't rushing to greet him but I certainly rushed out after the selections.
