Since this is the last thread we can make, I say we let it be an Update-like 150 page monster.

I agree but on one condition: that you never forget that a Republican freed the slaves.

Freed them into life of capitalist slavery. [/opebo]

Freed them into a life of Democratic Party demagoguery.

Of course. Republicans never abandoned and never started to ignore Black electorate in order to take over the Southern Whites.

It's totally inexcusable that they allowed the Redskins to score two touchdowns and we should have put up 49 points going into the half. I'm not thrilled. Seriously.

But I will accept the praise.

Congrats Phil on me passing first Arabic grammar test this year.

You will no longer take Arabic. Study Italian. Congrats to you on this honor.

I know you worked hard for the victory over the Redskins, and you're not just a "fan," but an active participant in their efforts.  You deserve to enjoy this slaughter.

66 points or this will be a disappointment.

Congrats Phil for having the good sense to emulate my thread.

Now, see all the fun you and so many others can have thanks to borrowing an idea from me.

I just love your witty sarcasm mixed with your unbridled ego.

He was more than just a passive reader of those trashy grocery store tabloids, I know.  He deserves real credit.

Anyone want to guess how many years we'll have to wait to congratulate him on Berlusconi going away?  Decades, perhaps?  (The man's ability to desperately hang on is impressive)

Though I want it to happen, I will have very mixed emotions when that happens.

Nonetheless, I do expect a statement in my honor immediately after it occurs.

Great job, Phil!  You deserve a reward for all your hard work on Senator-elect Toomey's special day.

Forty-nine cheers for Keystone Phil!

One question, Phil, why did you not use your immense powers over the Delaware media market to show that Christine O'Donnell was an unelectable loon before the primary with Castle?

Please, use your powers to make me pass my test today.

Keystone Phil, for your hard work traveling back in time and knocking up Toomey's mother, take the day off.  You deserve it.

No, just to pass my test. Is that too much to Keystone?

He can knock up Toomey's mother later.

It's not really a question of whether or not it's "too much" for him.  Phil giveth and Phil taketh away, you see.  All you can do is try to stay on his good side and hope for the best.

Don't worry about him being too busy to dole out his favor; he's already fathered Pat Toomey.  Granted, that doesn't really matter as he has apparently conquered the space-time continuum and can therefore simultaneously appear in multiple locations as needed.

If you find yourself confused at the last paragraph, I recommend studying the Back to the Future trilogy, paying special heed to Part II.  That should clear things up.

May Phil bless you.

I could take a few more 105 degree days here, if we don't get a winter like last one.

I'd take a hundred days like that over last Winter. That was just brutal. Then again, I prefer the extreme heat to the extreme cold anyway.

You pussies from Philly couldn't handle what we had in western PA last winter....

You will remember two things:

1.  Unlike like you lowlanders, I lived in mountains of Western Pennsylvania.

2.  If you read your current NP, I was the guy who showed up at the meeting.  Tongue
