If anyone has any questions about my Senate candidacy (including issue positions etc... this gives me an idea...) please feel free to post 'em all here.

I will answer every question.

Give me your specific position on abortion, please.

Also, name one time when a union has been wrong in the UK or US.
Thanks.

1. I have said this before and I will say this again: I will not campaign on wedge issues. My personal position (as opposed to political one) is that abortion is probably immoral after some point between 18 and 24 weeks.

2. Various insane actions by the Teamsters in the U.S. Various insane actions by the RMT in the U.K

There are other cases.

1. Why have you left the United Left?

2. Why did you join the Democrats?

1. I only joined the UL because there was no where else to go at that time. I've been feeling uncomfortable in the UL for some time anyway.
2. Because now that the AFDNC has got it's act together, I decided that it was time to come home.

What exactly have you been uncomfortable with?

Several issue positions (mostly unimportant to me) and the general feeling of a party collapsing. I think you might as well reform the Progressive Party.
Me rejoining the Democrats isn't really a rejection of the UL, and I'm glad I was a member of it when I was.
The AFDNC seems to have got it's act together... although if it adopts a Reactionary economic policy I promise to rejoin the UL or whatever it's called by then.
