New M-V poll by Forschungsgruppe Wahlen and Red-Green now slightly fails to get a majority:

35.0% SPD
28.0% CDU
16.5% Left
  8.0% Greens
  4.5% NPD
  4.0% FDP
  4.0% Others

44.5% CDU-Left vs. 43.0% SPD-Greens.

Berlin, same pollster/same date

SPD 33%
CDU 20.5%
Greens 20.5%
The Left 10.5%
Pirate Party 4.5%
FDP 3.5%
NPD 3.0%

Majority for SPD/Greens, SPD/CDU, or SPD/Left.

No majority for SPD/Left, if the Pirates get in. It would enable a SPD/Left/Pirate or Green/CDU/Pirate coalition though. Cheesy Not sure what the Pirates' position on forming a government is. I suppose they like the Greens the most and despise the CDU. I'd also bet they prefer an opposition role at this point.

I do not think anyone has posted this yet.

The mayor of Munich, Christian Ude, will participate as the leading candidate of the SPD in the 2013 state election in Bavaria. He is the most popular politician in Bavaria. The CSU had in the last 50 year never so a strong opponent in the elections and is a little bit in panic.

The election will be very intersting Smiley I hope in the next days we see a poll from Bavaria.

Well you'll have one more CSU voter then in Bayern (me) Smiley That'll make all the difference.

My result is almost identical (not that my numbers really matter, though):

1. CDU (56/76)
2. FDP (53/76)
3. NPD (44/76)
4. Piraten (35/76)
5. SPD (35/76)
6. Die Linke (30/76)
7. Grüne (23/76)

Not really surprising. I usually agree most with the CDU, then comes the FDP, and, unfortunately, often the NPD.

Whether or not one might agree with the NDP on certain individual issues (although that isn't often and it seems random), it's morally impossible for me to even consider considering a vote for them. Wowereit staying forever is preferable to fascists.

I agree. I'd even go as far as to say that I'd prefer a candidate from Die Linke to a guy from the NPD if these were the only two choices - thank God I'll never be in such a situation. Tongue

The problem, basically, is that the Wahlomat doesn't weight questions by how much importance the parties attach to them.
This is also why a Green-Left tie is the usual result for typical Green voters.

I wish the US had a multi-party system and Wahlomats for every election.

And why it is so hard to get the Nazis where they belong - at the bottom.

Mine is as usual

SPD/Linkspartei close to each other on the top
Pirates
Greens

huge gap

NPD
CDU
FDP

SPD 48/76
Linke 47/76
Pirates 44/76
NPD 43/76
FDP 36/76
CDU 35/76

FDP 53/76
CDU 52/76
SDP 47/76
Piraten 41/76
Die Linke 40/76
NPD 38/76
Grüne 35/76

Wow really surprised the Greens were the lowest. Even below Die Linke.

Dead heat between FDP and CDU

I tried the Berlin wahl-o-mat again....and weighting the "important" questions. Didn't really change much though.

1.) FDP (80/98)
2.) CDU (77/98)
3.) BüSo (60/98)
4.) NPD (57/98)
5.) SPD (54/98)
6.) Pirates (39/98)
7.) Greens (32/98)
8.) Left (31/98)

I got Linke > SPD > Greens > Pirates > BüSo > FDP > CDU > NDP. Seems all right and logical. Though there were a few local issues I had no idea about, so I voted "neutral".

I had the Greens first, weighed and unweighed. Still a tad undecided whom to vote for though. At this point it'll look like this...

State house direct candidate: Greens

State house party list: Pirate Party or Greens

Borough assembly party list: Greens

The second one depends on whether the Pirates are polled between 4% and 6% prior to election day and whether I'm still pissed at the Greens for running such a sh**tty campaign. Tongue
