Yes, aslong as 'special interests' aren't allowed to air them as well.

No. At least with PPBs you know when they're on, so you can take steps to avoid them. It would also increase the power of money in politics; not a good thing.

Besides, with the BBC taking up share a large share of the audience it wouldn't be very practical as the BBC does not show adverts for anything other than the BBC.

No, but I think that PPBs should be longer. Maybe 15 minutes or so.
