Say in 1944, FDR keeps Henry Wallace as VP despite the discontent on the part of the Democratic Party, and history otherwise goes as it did (FDR dies in April 1945), what would a Wallace presidency have been like? What do you guys think?

Didn't a Democrat from New York already do this timeline? The list was something like:
32. Franklin Roosevelt 1933-1945
33. Henry Wallace 1945-1949
34. Thomas Dewey 1949-1957
35. Henry Wallace/Happy Chandler 1957-1961
36. Nelson Rockefeller/Richard Nixon 1961-1965
37. John F Kennedy 1965-1973
38. Winthrop Rockefeller/Barry Goldwater 1973-1977
39. Ronald Reagan/Robert Kennedy 1977-1981
40. Robert Kennedy 1981-1989
41. Jack Kemp/Ross Perot 1989-1997
42. Ross Perot 1997-2001
43. Ann Richards/Wesley Clark 2001-something or other
44. Weley Clark

That's exactly the Timeline I was reffering to. It was believable up to the point where Jack Kemp picked Ross Perot for Vice-President.
