His interests included pussy and sailing.  That's pretty much it.  He had no beliefs to get in his way.  First primary I ever voted in, I voted for Gary Hart.

Love the name of his boat:  Monkey Business.

Love that he changed his name from Gary Hartpence to Gary Hart.  (although Dick Army would have been a better choice.  Is that name macho or what?)

Love that he enjoyed spending his time in the caribbean.

Love that the man could still hold his head high even when he was defeated by Dukakis in that primary.

I guess none of that makes him a freedom fighter (or a horrible person), but I generally like him.
