so, municipal elections are tomorrow and I have to vote for city council. There are 4 candidates running. Knowing my politics and views, which of these 4 should I vote for?
Rainer Bloess, longtime incumbent:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Elect-Roger-Innes-Ward/108772649182695Chris Fraser:
http://fraserforinnes.ca/I've pretty much decided for Jansa, who seems to be a progressive who supports pay decreases for city councillors, opposes a waste-of-money stupid roundabout, supports light rail and supports increased public participation. The incumbent seems like a crypto-rightist, and endorsed a right-winger in the neighboring ward (said right-winger has links to a far-right loon who ran for mayor in 2003). He also voted against restricting cuts to cultural institutions, against a clean air thingee, against limiting bus pass price hikes, and other bad stuff; but had some good votes like in favour of a universal transit pass for uni students which I use. On the positive side, the incumbent will build a bus shelter at my bus stop.
Furmanczyk dude seems like a crazy old guy (and probably a right-winger), while Chris Fraser seems like some random hobo who has no ideas besides the usual 'accountability' and 'senior care' sh**t they re-hash every 4 years.
I already know who to vote for Mayor (basically, anybody but the right-wing incumbent who is a scumbag) and school trustee (the mother of a girl I knew in grade 12).
