Hail for the architects of the 1930s who imagined a U-shaped building, so useful for the German and French polices to gather Jews before their last trip...

And I've corrected some mistakes in the list. Thank you, Bunwah, it's better like this.

Yeah, yeah, sry, was off again. Thanks for the solicitation though. Smiley

Ans for Saint-Maur, oops, goat cheese, you know. Grin

So, what's left...

Damn it! Balkanis! Santini! still here...

I maintain my last vote then:

Levalois-Perret
Issy-les-Moulineaux
Evry
Villejuif
Rueil-Malmaison

Roubaix is quite an ugly city, even though with many old houses in the center, but I don't vote for it (for some rounds Wink) because of its history of textile industry and its interesting experience of social christianism, still embodied by its recent mayor Diligent.

Aulnay also has a big Citroen car factory and is "famous" almost only for that...

(these villes nouvelles, "new cities", from the 19760s-1970s were the conesuence of theoretical urban planning and are now as ugly and sometimes as decaying as the old ones... Villeneuve-d'Ascq is another one in our list)

Nanterre is more known for its university, the first to "secede" in 1968, than for its housing Wink

Sarcelles is in the "plaine de France", the ancient heart of France...

Cergy
Montreuil
Epinay-sur-Seine
Villeurbanne
Courbevoie

(I prefer to pick Courbevoie than Levallois or Neuilly, as it's at least "liveable" in Levallois and Neuilly...)

(I don't understand why I'm the only one to vote for Montreuil, which is a mostly ugly and dirty city: just because Voynet has found a political haven here ? Tongue)

(I haven't voted for very, very ugly Epinay before, just because of the socialist congress of 1971... but apart from that, it's known for nothing... and it's really ugly)

(it's the same for Boulogne-Billancourt: I hate this city, you can't live in it: it's even more urbanized than Paris, with less transports and with many, many cars crossing it; but you've got the former Renault factories, with a huge workers history... so, still some rounds without trying to kill it, but it shoudl go soon too!)

(I also spare Champigny, again an ugly suburbian city, because I don't want to make Hash angry: Champigny was Marchais' political base ! Smiley)
