I agree with Texasgurl.  This Constitutional Crisis has gone on for too long.  I ask for a vote upon conclusion of the vote on the fifth amendment.

I agree with Texasgurl.  This Constitutional Crisis has gone on for too long.  I ask for a vote upon conclusion of the vote on the fifth amendment.

I, too, would like to see my last amendment passed or defeated as soon as possible so that we can commence voting on the entire amendment and get this constitutional crisis behind us.

The first four of my amendments have clearly been defeated.  The best that the fifth can do is tie, which amounts to a defeat.

Let's start voting on the amendment in its entirety.

I agree with my distinguished colleague from Washington, we must vote for this amendment in entirety as soon as possible.  Let this Constitutional Crisis at last come to an end.

Although my fifth amendment has not been officially defeated, I hereby remove it from consideration.  Voting on the entire amendment can commence.

I vote aye.

I vote yea.

With that we have 8 votes in favour to 1 against meaning that the constitutional amendment has passed through the Senate.

I will put the amendment to the public vote now.
