According to the Daily Beast and experts on Cuban issues, Jerry Brown has had issues of his own in regards to a trip he made in 2008 to the Communist nation in which he met with the Castro Brothers, that turns out was less then legally kosher. Especially since it involved a turncoat former CIA Agent, who organized and arranged the whole trip

Just received my ballot in the mail and will be voting for Brown. He's the best choice for Governor.

Just so you know, if the GOP takes either the House of the Senate, there won't be any chance in hell of any aide to CA. So unless Jerry does a 180 on the Public Sector unions, enjoy your exorbinant taxation rates for the next decade or two.

Yes, there will be a chance in hell.  The GOP never met anything they weren't willing to bail out with other peoples' money.

Meg Whitman is sure trying to use her $120 million to distract from Nanny-Gate.

Cool. My neighbors put up a Jerry Brown sign yesterday. I'll definitely make sure my parents vote for him.

I suspect you're trying to make a point here, but the underlying assumptions are so foreign that that point is entirely lost.

Isn't this the tack the ruling party in Singapore takes?

Singapore doesn't have any subnational elected governments. Are you thinking of Malaysia?

She's up to $140 now.

The Republicans would never cut off aid to the state that elects more House Republicans than any other state.

Your comment seems to assume that the Feds have some money to hand out.

If they give aide, it would be loaded with conditions that Jerry Brown would never agree to.
