NO!  I was against Kerry as the nominee from the start, he was my second least favorite serious candidate other than Dean.  Too liberal, too New Englandy.  It should have been Clark, or Edwards, even Gephardt.

Evan Bayh 2008!

Spot on. I grew to like Kerry but never really felt he was the best candidate.

Of all the serious candidates, I thought Kerry would be the best President, but would have one of the toughest times getting elected.

It's always going to be tough for a liberal to get elected because, according to exit polls, 34% of voters are self-styled Conservatives compared with 21% Liberals
