Political Suicide. No Candidate since Grover Cleveland has ran again and won. Usually they do the same or do worse than their first campaign.

It's too early to tell. However, Gore flirted with the possibility of running again until a year or so before the election, so in 2006 or '07 we might see the headline 'Kerry: "I Won't Run"'.

I wonder who Kerry would endorse should he decide not to run.

I wonder if his endorsement will have the same timing and effect as Gore's did last year.  Just after Dean peaked and served to accelerate his decline.
