I don't know about counties, but if there was a 2008 re-run or a generic GOP vs. Obama on the ballot, here's how the map would be I think:



MI, WI, NJ, PA, OH, IA, NH, NV, NM, CO are relatively close.

and in 2009:



NV, CO, NM, VA, OH, PA are relatively close.
