For both parties, who in 2008 will run who is not or once was a Governor or Senator, aside from Rudy Guliani.

Jon Stewart? Tom Brokaw?

I would have to believe that Tom Brokaw would win overwhelmingly.

JON STEWART FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

Who would his running mate be? Colbert, Cordry, Helms, Bee, Wolftong, Black?

At least he'd be a Democrat.

Stewart-Colbert '08!

Are all of the Daily Show people Dems?  Stewart and Colbert are the only ones I know for sure, but does anyone know about the others?

I believe Cordry is Jewish, which would likely mean he is a Democrat. I like to think they are all Democrat Smiley
Lewis Black (not a correspondent, he's in studio sometimes) may be Democrat, he had some pretty sharp anti-NASCAR/Republican stuff, but anyone of any political persuasion will trash their own side for good money.
