Had I heard something about VT-AL, or am I wrong?  I thought somebody said it needed to be looked at because of the wave, but I may be going senile Tongue

Between this and the governor's race, it looks like Vermont may be experiencing an anti-wave. looooool.

Eh, I think these are pretty typical numbers by which Vermont re-elects it's incumbents.

I think Dubie will still pull it off, though I don't know why anyone would have though that Welch was threatened.

He's doing a little better than Leahy, who's up 62-32 in the same poll.

That was Vepres, enough said.

Well, there was no polling, the Republican is ahead in the Gubernatorial race, and the incumbent didn't slide into the seat in 2006. Plus, upper New England can be weird in its voting patterns.

I had a disclaimer that I was just throwing ideas around and seeing what stuck, I didn't claim that those were based on any serious analysis Tongue

Yeah, but I speculated about VT-AL being a "sleeper" seat about a month ago, so yeah...

The Republican who may win in November is a moderate Republican, one who's managed to be elected and re-elected Lt. Governor, one who is campaigning on bread-and-butter local issues and isn't running on a full blown attack of the evil Muslim socialist agenda. This guy, though, is a nutjob who should move to Alabama and perhaps find a better website designer.
