Do you think she can pull it off Sam?  So far, she has been a very skillful candidate. If she gets much closer, we are down to turnout models.

Quinnipiac has been atrocious this cycle. Can we get a better pollster?

Yeah I'm sure Obama only has a 45% Approval rating in Connecticut...

Among LIKELY voters?  It's certainly possible.  Democrats aren't very motivated to vote this cycle.  Republicans and conservative-leaning independents are.

What surprises me is that 13% of CT likely voters haven't heard enough about McMahon to have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of her.  She's been saturating the NYC airwaves.  I can only imagine how much advertising she's been buying in Hartford/New Haven and on cable.

Do you think she can pull it off Sam?  So far, she has been a very skillful candidate. If she gets much closer, we are down to turnout models.

I still think Blumenthal needs another self-induced stumble before McMahon has any reasonable chance of winning.  But McMahon's money has bought a great campaign team, including a good op research team that might give Blumenthal a little push toward self-implosion.

FWIW, Blumenthal's lead over McMahon has fallen in every Quinnipiac poll taken this year.

It was 41 points in January, 33 in March, 25 in May, 20 points in June, 17 in July, 10 in August and now 6 points.
