Democrats nominate a pro-life candidate? Wouldn't there be a strong third party option for disgruntled pro-choicers?

Not to mention, I doubt abortion would be as high ranking on the minds of voters in an election like 2008.

Didn't know that, I thought he was pro-life because of the conservatism of his state.

Wyoming's more pro-choice than say, Utah or Idaho.

Even if Freudenthal was pro-life, Mitt Romney would flip flop to be pro choice out of political opportunism.

You have it all wrong. First, the Republicans are more likely to nominate a pro-choicer than the Democrats, a pro-lifer, and that's exactly what's happening here. If anything, there ought to be a third party ticket for disgruntled pro-lifers.

And of course I vote for neither, but Freudenthal wins easily.

Big win for Presidentially qualified Romney over lightweight Freudenthal.

Romney              360
Freudenthal         178
