Why North Dakota and Alaska? Also I don't think Lynch would have motivated black turnout enough to flip Indiana.

Err, I meant that to be Republican. My mistake.

Anywho, Alaska was pretty competitive until the Palin pick OTL - I think Lynch would resonate much more there than Obama would, and overall would focus much more on a "western strategy", neglecting Florida and North Carolina.
