Who do you think will win. Is there a runoff if someone doesn't hit 40%? I don't believe so.

My choice: Eric Schneiderman
Who I think Will Win: Eric Schneiderman by the skin of his teeth

Who do you want to win, and who do you think will win?

Its completely open, but I think its between Coffey, Schniederman and Rice, I don't think Brodsky or Dinallo will win.

I was leaning towards Rice, though now I'm probably leaning more towards Schniederman, though I think pretty much any of them would make a strong AG's, though not that fond of Brodsky.

Rice is the worst of the 5 candidates, but she's probably winning because she's the woman.

I just want to point out with Kathleen Rice at 37% of the vote, 63% of people do not want Kathleen Rice as the nominee...

Good, Schneiderman won. He was the main sponsor of the repeal of the Rockefeller drug laws.

And he certainly didn't let us forget about it!

Before I got my paid job in NY, I interned for freezies for a few months in this race, so I followed is closely.

The Rocky Reform is important, because it allowed Schneiderman to draw contrast in a crowded field, even if it has nothing to do with the AG's office.  The other candidates didn't do an effective job at standing out from the pack when it came to the voters.

I wonder if Rice could have won if she ran explicitly as a moderate on social and economic issues.  Not saying I'd want alternate-world-moderate Kathleen Rice as AG, but in a field of 5....
