Option 3. Last month I reported for jury duty but the parties (it was a civil case) reached settlement before the jurors got questioned.

It was quite a few years ago...had to go sit in a room and wait for 8 hours a day, with 20 other people, for a week.  And my work had to excuse me, and pay me.  Total waste of time, I didn't get called.

Never been summoned.  One of my roommates (age 2) has been summoned once the other (age 20) twice.  Bad luck in my household...

Never been summoned. I'd actually be willing to do it (If I've got nothing better going on, which I don't, why not?).... I dunno that I'd be selected though.

Summoned but excused. I was summoned at my old residence but I had moved out of state. Never have been summoned here in FL but would like to be!

I still have a tough time seeing how 2-year olds can be summoned for jury duty. Bad for our legal system if we have 2-year olds on juries.

To anyone who has actually made it further: Would I get booted during interviews due to being given the opportunity to say things like "cops suck" and "Will this case involve marijuana because if so I'm going to instantly acquit the guy no matter what"?

I've been called in every year since 2007, but only questioned once and wasn't selected.  I miss being able to give the full-time student excuse for not showing up.
