Bush didn't say any of that, some old blog did. I have no opnion on homosexuality, but that's not the only issue used in the quote.

Well about 10-20% of Democrats are Jews or other (like my rep), and another 10-20% support the same anti-Christian policies the Republicans do (I do include in this things like attacking the rights of GLBT people). That averages to roughly only 70% of Democrats. And very few Republicans (How many supported things like torture?) You also have the issue of Catholics who might adhere to their church's anti-Christian teachings but I still include Catholics despite that. That probably equals about 40% of Congress.

Hey I just realized I live in the only district in the country where people have representation in the House and Senate by someone of all three Abrahamic religions!

One can only be christian in name only because it's a matter of interpretation. When I was christian, I may have been a very different christian than my best friend because of the differences of our practices. One can only be christian in name only. In deed is a matter of interpretation.
