Even if Iowa and New Mexico both go for Bush, only three states will have voted differently from 2000.

When was the last time 3 or fewer states changed parties in a presidential election?

That is 4 states, Phillip.  OK, TN, WI and KY.

The last time 3 states changed was 1904-1908.  Nevada, Colorado and Nebraska changed.

No, 4 states (KY, WV, MO, and LA) changed in that election.
