Unless Maes is replaced with someone more viable.

Even if Maes agrees to step down (and be replaced with Norton or Penry), I still think Hickenlooper will win. He's very popular, charismatic, and doesn't have any controversies.

So... Hickenlooper is the only politician in Colorado that isn't widely hated?

Lol, 23% of Hispanics support Tancredo.

Interesting that there is no statistically significant difference between 18-29 group and the 30-45 group in both the Maes/Hickenlooper/Tancredo match-up and the Bennet/Buck math-up in another PPP poll.

This race started 10 minutes ago. The media hasn't dug up anything on Hickenlooper yet. Colorado loves him because they know nothing about him yet.

Angry republicans are going Tancredo for the moment. We'll see what happens this week with Tancredo/Maes meeting.

Ugh, if Hickenlooper does so well in the Gov. race, he might coattail Bennet to victory in the senate race.

Mayor of Colorado's largest city vs. an also-ran who only won because his opponent had a late scandal, and you're talking about how nobody knows anything about Hickenlooper yet?

Lateral coattails don't exist.

Could depress turnout though for people who don't care about voting for Buck

I don't see that happening. Buck has far more enthusiasm than McInnis ever did.

I was comparing Buck to some random rich person whom McInnis would drop out of the race for, who could dump millions of dollars into creating enthusiasm for himself.

at least, let's pretend that's what I was doing
