Well on Monday I get to drive 20ish minutes from Whitewater to Janesville so I can go to the nearest Target to get the special edition of Taylor Swift's new album! Grin

I can't imagine subjecting myself to enough stuff I can't stand to actually make a remotely informed list of worst artists.

I wasted a night on learning Hendrix's Purple Haze on guitar.  It was worth it.

Neither can I. This has all been played for me before.

Skinny Puppy ranked best to worst:
Too Dark Park
Last Rights
VIVIsectVI
Rabies
Cleanse, Fold and Manipulate
The Process
Bites
Mythmaker
Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse
The Greater Wrong of the Right

I don't generally take offense to people's lists because, you know, it's your own thing, but there's no way in hell Mythmaker is better than Mind, or Cleanse, Fold better than The Process. It makes my mind esssplode.

(Haven't heard Back & Forth yet, or Remix Dys Temper... that's supposed to be sh-t though, so that will be enjoyable Tongue )

Those Brap collections are really for the most diehard of fans. Some b-sides, outtakes, live stuff, remixes, and what not. If you're really into them, I think you should check them out. The remix thing isn't too bad. Mark Walk did a great job, out of a few of the better tracks on there.

Ministry ranked best to worst:
Psalm 69
Land of Rape and Honey
The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste
Filth Pig
Twitch

(Haven't heard the rest yet)

I think Al Jourgensen's most creative peak (that's not embarassing) is Twitch. The Land of Rape and Honey, like most of his other albums, suffer from being spotty. It's Big Black with samples, essentially, and some really good bass playing on the part of Paul Barker. Post Filth Pig is pretty much garbage, except "Animositisomina". It's his last good hurrah, and definitely noise rock, not big dumb metal like the rest of his stuff.

My rank, essentially comes down to:

Twitch
Animositisomina
Land of Rape and Honey
The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste tied with Psalm 69
.
.
.
.
.
.
Filth Pig
Dark Side of the Spoon
With Sympathy
Houses of the Molé
Rio Grande Blood
The Last Sucker

The 12 minute song on Twitch was the best part.

As for Skinny Puppy rankings, it's close between Cleanse and Process. Both are good albums which I like alot. Mind I'm largely indifferent to though, apart from Dig It which is obviously awesome.

Neither, though Jeff Beck is pretty damn badass.  And yes, he is the best guitarist of the three Yardbirds guitarists.Tongue

This is what I meant by Beck.Tongue

No More Mr Nice Guy is pretty good.

I'm wondering, what do you guys like to listen to when you exercise?

I enjoy myself some Neil Young, Dire Straits, or something heavier like The Devil Wears Prada.

1) "I'm Eighteen" is one of my favorites, and it was one of my dad's favorites, though I can't seem to find a good live version of it on youtube.

2) The Scorpions

I wouldn't say I like The Gerogerigegege's music so much as I find the concept and execution of the project intriguing, but I guess that's the point. Yellow Trash Bazooka is my favorite.

That's probably my favorite Rolling Stones song. It is quite amazing.
