Is it just me or have the red counties become more red, and the blue counties become more blue (than in 2000)

Actually, I've noticied that many of the Dem states have slightly more Bush voters than in 2000.

At least in WA, only one county changed - a razor-thin Bush county to a razor-thin Kerry county. In 2000, Nader would have been enough to do it.

Despite that, Kerry won the state by 7 when Gore won it by 5 in 2000. My county tightened, though, sadly.

A lot of not changing is pretty much what I observed...but, yes, when I look at the numbers the very solid blue counties moved bluer while the fairly solid red counties moved redder.
