The poll was conducted by Braun Research from Princeton, not by Princeton Reseach Associates.

Probably because they have voters being overwhelmingly old, and the olds associate themselves with the Democratic Party, even if they rarely vote for Dems anymore.

Presumably those same old voters would associate themselves the same way in an exit poll.
