Ladies and Gentlemen, we are _assembled_ here today for the purpose _amending_ our _bylaws_, to comply with the recently passed _Fusion Voting Bill_ and to allow for the smooth operation, and efficient conducting of _fusion_ _endorsements__ of _non_  -  _party_ candidates. All members of the Executive council, which includes _every_ _current_ _member_ _of_ _the_ _party_ , may _discuss_, _introduce_, and _and vote_ for resolutions to that effect.

I don't see a problem with this, though I don't see it as completely necessary either. I'll vote how I want to vote regardless of how the party dictates. That said, this can't hurt.

I think we'll always be the RPP regardless of our official name. The prevailing forces that wanted to push for a name change a year ago are gone anyway. In my heart, we will always be the RPP. Wink

If no one objects by 12:00 PM EST Sunday July 25, 2010, then a vote shall be immediately commenced on passage of the the above resolution. The Vote will last 72 hours and will be finished at 12:00 PM EST Wednesday July 28, 2010.

Duke, I want you to take care of GOTV operations for this. Make sure you specify the date and times of the vote and what it is for. CONTACT ALL MEMBERS. See membership list on the private forum if necessary.

This is in case I don't get back on for a few days. I am taking a vacation of sorts. I hear "The Appalachian Trail" is beautiful this time of year.
