That's a horrible idea.  It doesn't matter who she is paired with.  I just told someone in another thread that there is no way Obama would win in a 400+ EV landslide but nominating Palin would do it.  Here is the map.

I'll admit Texas may be far fetched. But Obama wins big.

I'll admit Texas may be far fetched. But Obama wins big.

2008 margins were the same in Nebraska and Kansas. I'd color them both the same. (And the two have agreed on every election since the first post-World War II election of 1948.) South Carolina, in which Obama won the first two age groups in 2008, would also flip to him. Its 2008 margin was comparable to Arizona, North Dakota, and South Dakota, and with your flipping of Nebraksa, the Palmetto State would be a part of this trend.

For Obama to do it in a landslide relection, he'd be winning an estimated 60% of the U.S. Popular Vote. (Not incomprehensible.)

This has to be the most ridiculous map I've ever seen.

Stop the joking and put a serious map up.

That is a serious map. America would love seeing commercials with a mom cooking breakfast for her family as the husband headed to work at the mill while the kids left for their Christian school that was being invaded by the federal government. Palin would connect with the voters on things that are very emotional and important parts of life.

Being a mom and having a teenager with a baby, a son in Iraq, and a husband who was a teamster connects with alot of voters.

Seriously Americans are angry and the Left which his helped by the medias want to kill Palin politically.

It's the same thing with Huckabee who can possibly beat Obama if the election was today ...

Alot of people would beat Obama today. Huckabee is the most underrated candidate I've ever seen.

That's the way most people live their family lives or would at least prefer it. Some aren't so fortunate so mom has to work too. It's unfortunate that society has gone downhill getting involved with drugs, the media, and and MTV.

Yes, but Palin doesn't have to work.  The Palins could easily live off of her book royalties.  So how is Palin running for president (an extremely demanding job, which would inevitably mean less time with her children) going to reinforce ideals about mothers staying home to raise their children?  Wouldn't it do the opposite?
