Meeker has been nominated by President Purple State to the position of SoFE. This thread is open for questioning up to a maximum of 72 hours, unless further questioning is requested by the Senate after such a time. Go crazy!

I'm glad that Meeker has found the job he desires.....something that doesn't involve a lot of work....Smiley

I have no concerns about his competence, of course.....and I'll certainly vote to confirm.

If by "done anything" you mean "hacked into other people's accounts" then no, I have never done anything.

What does the office do besides open and close voting booths and count the votes? Smiley

I was thinking along the lines of ballot design, like how this past election had parties listed for the first time.

I know I listed parties in every election I managed....

I have thought about changing the ballot design slightly though I'm not sure exactly in what way. The massive, bolded font in the opening voting booth posts has always kind of annoyed me.

Other things in the cooker:

- Federal election calendar for quick reference
- Reminder PM's
- A voters' pamphlet!

Are you familiar with the Fusion Ballot Reform Act, which is expected to be passed and signed shortly? Do you consider yourself prepared for the role of the SoFE in implementing new policies such as fusion voting?

Yup. Seems simple enough.

A vote to confirm this nominee has begun. Senators, please vote aye, nay, or abstain.
