Why has Romney slipped in the last few polls? And is there any real explanation for Gingrich's improvement?

I highly doubt Huckabee runs, which changes the equation a lot and likely benefits Gingrich and Palin.

Everyone knows Huck and Palin aren't running, and Gingrich is the only one making noise on the right.

Romney is also pretty quiet and comparring Romney and Gingrich, Gingrich looks like a much better leader and more fit to be President. The focus isn't fully on the economy anymore

So, the GOP primary race so far is basically who's the craziest tea partier and not who can become the 45th POTUS?

The Tea Party hates Gingrich and Romney, Romney is a de facto establishment candidate and the Tea Party called Gingrich a "RINO".

what Tea party? Are you aware Gingrich was the keynote speaker at the huge NYC tea party? That he passed balanced budgets, made huge welfare reform and got through the defense of marriage act?

Long story short, the GOP is completely undecided on who they want as their nominee. All this 23%, 17% stuff doesn't mean a thing.

Palin should go to Florida and spend the entire primary campaign trying to hold that state like Giuliani.  That  will be best for the nation.
