An FYI, I didn't vote to 'disapprove' of any Senators, just voted to Approve of some I particularly like.

I know the first three, and like them.
I know the fourth, and don't like him.
I don't know the fifth, so I have to go on party line. He is JCP, and I dislike the JCP, so, I don't like him by default. I could always change if I got to know him though.

I don't think the legislation we propose or anything else actually related to our jobs as senators are what most people are basing their votes on here.

In any event, I invite all of those who have voted that they "disapprove" of me to come voice their concerns in my office, where the door has been open...

A senator should not only be judged by the legislation they propose, but by the way they work with their peers. I'm hopeful that the Senate will be increasingly collegial internally and with my administration, even as we bring up some big issues in the coming months.

Bingo. Things would go on with much more civility if members of your administration didn't decide to act as agents provocateurs on the Senate floor.

The comments I made in the Senate on your legislation could probably be counted on one hand. You're the one hysterically throwing around observably ridiculous terms (like labeling me a "reactionary tool of big business") or trying to throw your faux outrage machine into overdrive to the point of accusing Purple State of threatening you.

Besides, we don't even HAVE an "administration" yet.

No, I meant current executive officials. I've easily found statements from SoFE Franzl and Sens. Badger and NCY that have expressed discontent with the way you have composed yourself in Senate debate. I just hope things will get more civil.

And I should tell you now, it is a fairly well known that Marokai is kind of a jerk. Wink I'm not going to pretend that I can control the guy, but if you have problems dealing with his provocations, well... good luck.

I didn't really have problems with them until the level of discourse had already been brought down. We've since moved on and are trying to find compromise solutions for the proposed legislation. Just have to wait until Badger is sober. Tongue

Anyway NCY and Badger themselves were recently admonished by Bacon King for "conduct unbecoming of a Senator", so it's quite unfair to single me out for that.

Oh, unfortunately, I've heard plenty about Marokai from people who've known him, and none of it was good.

I actually put him on ignore long ago at the suggestion of a moderator, but it's the Show Post button that causes the problems.

Funny how I'm the one who proposed and pushed through the Intra Regional Mobility Amendment to allow people to freely change states within a region- what you have been asking for- and yet I'm the one Senator you don't approve of.

Reread my initial comment. You took it as a personal shot, when it was only meant as a hopeful message to the entire Senate. I didn't even mention you. Wink
