I hope that after tomorrow we will have a winner, whoever it may be, and that the candidate who loses will graciously concede defeat to the victor and rally his supporters to do the same. We must not drag this election out for months and months. We must not become enemies to opposition because "our guy" lost. We must unite to fight the true enemy who wishes us dead. We must be the United States of America.

We know our beliefs and we know the beliefs of our political opponents, but we must stand together. To quote Abraham Lincoln when running for Senate in 1858,  "A house divided against itself cannot stand". This is my plea.

I echo this plea.

I agree with this sentiment.  Rancor is getting old fast.

I couldn't agree more.  I was enjoying it for awhile, but I was ready for it to be over about a month ago.

Amen.  Whether it's Bush or Kerry, let's get it over with, we've four years to solve some problems before the next election.  The problems will only be solved by working together.

Here's to a clear winner Tuesday night/Wednesday morning!

The winner is the winner and they will be our President for the next 4 years.  America will have spoken.

Forget the partisan pickering and solve the problems of this country.

Loser needs to concede quickly

The winner is the winner unless he concedes himself.
Another five weeks of rancor and legal complaints would be bad but they wouldn't be nowhere as catastrophic as another four years of underlegitimized presidency. Even if that would be a Kerry presidency.
America had a lot of lessons to learn from the 2000 disaster. She chose not to.
Sorry for sounding harsh.
