Good, the door is at least open. Ron Paul is the only Republocrat worthy of support in 2012.

Yes, but Johnson has signed abortion restrictions into law in NM, so pro-lifers still have praise for him. Plus, I think I heard he supports states rights on the issue, but I'm not entirely sure.

Johnson wouldn't have much of a base if Paul were in the race.

I'm glad that Ron Paul is considering a Presidential run in 2012, as he is our only weapon against those damn reptillians.

The converse of what I said isn't really true. Ron Paul has a built-in base that will stick with him no matter what if he runs. Johnson has nothing as yet.

Yes, but Johnson has signed abortion restrictions into law in NM, so pro-lifers still have praise for him. Plus, I think I heard he supports states rights on the issue, but I'm not entirely sure.

According to the Gary Johnson website, back when he had a video for his position on the issue (Methinks the website hasn't been updated in awhile, as several links don't work) he said it was not for an issue for federal intrusion, and supported states' rights on the issue. He was, however, endorsed by the New Mexico Right To Life Committee.

If Johnson wishes to run for President, he would do well to court Ron Paul's endorsement.
