Don't stop reporting them please.  Please say "spam flooding" or something of that kind in the report, so that it gets accurately stored.  Reporting threads is important, as it lets me respond immediately, takes less work for me (especially from my phone), and let's me easily handle the situation on my phone.  Spamming is clearly against the rules here, and making twenty threads about one topic within a span of a few days is clearly spamming and against the rules.
