Wow are people just getting sick of her ads finally? I'm hoping she does pull through, Poizner could very well be a viable opponent who has won statewide before. Whitman is just trying to buy the governorship.

Hahah. Buying an election with personal wealth is nothing new in American politics, but one probably shouldn't be so arrogantly blatant about it or its liable to turn people against you. Voters don't like to think you think they are brainless sheep who can be bought with an avalanche of TV ads.

Whitman plays the same ad over and over again.

Bear in mind that Poizner was facing Cruz Bustamante.

Probably should have seen this before I suggested that Poizner had no chance. What an embarrassment (then again, this might be an outlier).

It's fun to see a proponent of 500,000 new H-1B visas a year not doing so well.

Yup, I don't think that we should have to point out that Brown has significantly more political skills than Bustamante.

Brown would murder Poizner.

In the Republican governor race, Chambers has 1% of the conservative vote, 0% of the moderate vote, and 29% of the liberal vote. Maybe he's running in the wrong party.

Who had won statewide office before by a large margin. Did the recall thing really hurt him that badly?

I'm not sure why he'd be weaker than the next statewide Democratic candidate, though his ads in the 2006 Insurance Commissioner race were pretty terrible.

Cruz's campaign for insurance commissioner was based on the fact that he had lost a lot of weight.

It appears that Republican voters in California are begining to realize the Whitman is a real nut case.
